In 2014, Sviat moved to the UK from a small town in Ukraine.
No job. No savings. No backup plan.
He started out working on warehouse logistics jobs just outside London — doing whatever it took to survive.
It wasn’t glamorous.
But it was real.
And it taught him how to work. Fast. Efficiently. No complaints.

In 2015, Sviat entered construction the way most don’t anymore — from the bottom.He started as a demolition laborer, then moved into carpentry and other trades. Over the next few years, he personally worked through
every keyrole on a construction site:

• General labor
• Carpenter
• Dryliner
• Foreman
• Site manager
• Estimator
• Procurement
• Project lead

Unlike most founders, he didn’t skip steps.

He didn’t “buy in”.
He lived it. And this experience became the foundation of something bigger.

The Launch of Craftex

Craftex started small — a few private refurbishments, trusted trades, tight coordination.
But from day one, the mindset was different:

• Every project had structure
• Every team had leadership
• Every client had clarity

By year 2, Craftex passed £500,000 turnover
By year 3, over £1,000,000
As of today — 150+ completed projects across London and the Southeast, including:

• Office fit-outs
• Commercial refurbishments
• Warehouse conversions
• High-end residential projects
